Indonesian Palm Oil News (IPO News) – Financially, total net sales PT Nusa Palapa Gemilang Tbk in 2023 reached Rp 52,286,426,282, compared to Rp 154,393,059,177 the previous year. A closer look at performance by segment reveals a diverse picture. The net sales of the Compound Fertilizer Segment, which supplies primary macronutrients for food crops, plantations, forestry, and horticulture, fell from Rp 145,195,430,768 in 2022 to Rp 52,026,915,377.
Micronutrient sources for the Compound Fertilizer Segment decreased from Rp 1,045,330,910 to Rp 500,000 in 2023. Other category sales were Rp 259,010,905, decreasing from the previous year’s figure of Rp 8,152,297,499. Net profit in 2023 will be Rp 60,134,698,120, up 257.21% from the previous year’s net loss of Rp 38,251,372,554. Profits from the sale of fixed assets and patent rights drove this increase.
In order to optimize ongoing performance, the Company has implemented several strategic initiatives, including implementing cost-efficiency schemes, focusing on cost components that significantly contribute to the Company’s profitability, and updating and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to align with the Company’s development.
PT Nusa Palapa Gemilang Tbk (NPGF) is a fertiliser manufacturer, especially the non-subsidised NPK fertiliser granules and other types of micro fertiliser granules. The company was established in 2001, and now their production line capacity is 180,000 metric tonnes per year.
