Indonesian Palm Oil News (IPO News) – Based on IPO News’s observations, Astra Agro Lestari Tbk. production of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB), Crude Palm Oil (CPO), and Palm Kernel (PK) over the past six years (2020–2025) has shown fluctuations. The highest FFB production was recorded in 2020 at 4.63 million tons. This declined to 4.32 million tons in 2021 and further decreased to 4.27 million tons in 2022. The production then increased significantly in 2023 to 4.35 million tons, before declining to 3.73 million tons in 2024 and in 2025, it increased to 3.82 million tons.
The peak of AALI’s Crude Palm Oil (CPO) production occurred in 2021 at 1.47 million tons while the lowest level was recorded in 2024 at 1.12 million tons. Similarly, Palm Kernel (PK) production reached its highest level in 2021 at 315 thousand tons and its lowest level in 2024 at 234 thousand tons. In 2025, CPO and PK production are estimated to increase by approximately 9%. The details are pictured in the following table.

According to IPO News’s projections, AALI’s overall production in 2025 is expected to increase by approximately 8-12 percent.
The performance of AALI in the last four years (2021–2025) had fluctuated. Its business peak occurred in 2021 with revenue of Rp 24.32 trillion and fantastic profit of Rp 1.97 trillion. High revenue of AALI in 2021 was caused by high CPO price reaching US$ 965 per ton followed by high price of other derivate products such as Palm Kernel (PK), Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) and Olein. As of 2025, AALI’s performance has surged significantly, with net profit rising sharply to Rp 1.47 trillion. This represents a 28% increase compared to that at the the same period of the previous year. During this period, AALI successfully recorded total revenue of Rp 28.65 trillion, reflecting a 31% year-on-year increase. This revenue was primarily generated from the crude palm oil (CPO) and its derivatives segment, which contributed Rp 25.52 trillion, followed by the palm kernel oil segment at Rp 3.12 trillion, and other segments amounting to Rp 10.92 billion.
