Indonesian Palm Oil (IPO News) – HASNUR’s business in the hands of the second generation is growing rapidly, one of which is in the palm oil business. Until 2025 HASNUR Group had a portfolio in oil palm plantations through
its two subsidiaries, namely PT Hasnur Citra Terpadu (HCT) and PT Barito Putera Plantation (BPP).
HCT has an oil palm plantation area of 9,652 hectares located in Tapin Regency, South Kalimantan Province, while BPP has an oil palm plantation area of 13,006 hectares located in Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan Province. These two plantation companies have applied appropriate cultivation techniques which are in accordance with the existing ecosystem. These two companies are also considered successful in reforesting unused land which is less productive.
Until 2023 HASNUR Group had planted oil palm area of 22,650 hectares, about 37% of which is plasma plantation area. The plasma land owned by HCT has exceeded which determined by the government through Minister of Agriculture Regulation No. 26/2007 concerning Guidelines for Plantation Business Licensing. This regulation requires palm oil companies to allocate plasma land of 20% of the nucleus plantation area. The number of plasma farmers assisted by HCT reaches 3,200 people.
HCT has 1 unit of Palm Oil Plant (PKS) with a capacity of 45 tons of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) per hour and can be increased to 90 tons of FFB per hour. HCT has been running the palm oil business in a sustainable manner according to the standards set by Indonesia Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO). HCT is the first company in Tapin, South Kalimantan to have received an ISPO certificate.
Not much information is obtained by IPO NEWS regarding the amount of FFB and CPO production per year. This company is very reclusive. IPO NEWS has contacted the HASNUR Group office several times to obtain information about its real production, but always gets unanswered. According to IPO NEWS’s estimation which is calculated from planted plantation area, HASNUR Group’s production of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) and Crude Palm Oil (CPO) had continued to increase in the last five years (2020-2024).
In 2020 the total production of FFB is estimated to reach 589,000 tons rose to 614,000 tons in 2021 to 618,000 tons in 2022 to 628,000 tons in 2023 and predicted to be 650,000 tons in 2024. Meanwhile, CPO production in 2020 is estimated to reach 111,600 tons rose to 119,500 tons in 2021 to 121,000 tons in 2022 to 125,000 tons in 2023 and predicted to reach 128,000 tons in 2024.
