Indonesian Palm Oil News (IPO News) – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) and its subsidiary, PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA), receive recognition at the 2025 Bina Mitra UMKM Award. The award, presented by the CFCD Foundation with full support from the Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), and the UMKM Mentor Association, honors UT and PAMA for their consistent efforts in advancing and mentoring micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The award ceremony takes place at the SMESCO UKM Building (SME Tower) in Jakarta.
This event organizes appreciation for institutions or companies committed to MSME development in Indonesia. The Deputy officially opens it for Medium Enterprises of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs and the Chairperson of the CFCD Foundation.
UT’s CSR Manager, Himawan Sutanto, emphasizes that empowering MSMEs is more than just a program-it is part of the Company’s social responsibility to create a more inclusive and sustainable economy. Through consistent and targeted mentoring, the Company aims to open market access, enhance capacity, and strengthen the competitiveness of local MSMEs.
At the event, UT receives three awards in the following categories: Best Mentor with a GOLD rating, and two GOLD awards for its mentored MSMEs “D’Shafa” and “Cenma.” “D’Shafa” operates in the culinary and urban farming sectors by transforming underutilized yards into productive hydroponic farms that empower the East Jakarta community. Meanwhile, “Cenma” is a snack producer from Tabalong Regency that champions flavor innovation and sociopreneurship to support local products.
PAMA also garners top accolades through its mentored MSMEs spread across various operational sites. PAMA Site SBBA receives two GOLD awards in the Mentor and MSME categories, with “Rumah Batik Serasan (RBS)” recognized as a pioneer of traditional textiles from Muara Enim Regency. In addition, PAMA Site Indo District secures two GOLD awards for Mentor and MSME categories, recognizing “PT Qisbelin Snack Indonesia” for its Amplang Qisbelin Go to International program.
PAMA Site KPCB earns three honors for its horticulture empowerment initiative under the Duta Tani program, which supports national food security. The program wins two GOLD awards for the Mentor and MSME categories and First Place in the Mentor category for PAMA Daya Taka’s LPB (Business Development Institution). Meanwhile, PAMA Aria District Site receives two GOLD awards for Mentor and MSME “Rumah Maggot Kintap,” recognized for its innovative use of maggots in organic waste management and animal feed production. Lastly, PAMA Site KPCB achieves three GOLD awards for the Mentor category and two MSMEs: “Jagandi” and “Rindu Rasa,” for their sustainable home industry development programs offering a variety of local culinary products, such as soy milk, traditional herbal drinks, Indonesian snacks, and other light food products.
