Indonesian Palm Oil News (IPO News) – PT Agrina Sawit Perdana (ASP) is a medium sized palm oil company in Indonesia located in Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The first oil palm plantation was planted on 270 hectares in 2000.
ASP continued to expand its plantation area, and in 2017 it operated a Palm Oil Mill (PKS) with a capacity of 60 tons per hour, processing Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) into crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel (PK).
ASP has 6 subsidiaries to support its activities. Based on CDMI’s analysis of Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) data, three of these subsidiaries have the highest FFB, CPO, and PK production:
The first is PT Kharisma Alam Persada (KAP). In 2024, KAP, with its 8,993-hectare plantation, produced 80,829 tons of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB), 16,368 tons of Crude Palm Oil (CPO), and 2,684 tons of Palm Kernel (PK). KAP’s production is predicted to increase by 12 percent in 2025. KAP has one Palm Oil Mill (PKS) with a capacity of 60 tons of FFB per hour.
The second is PT Rana Wastu Kencana (RWK). In 2024, RWK, which has a plantation area of 7,350 hectares, produced 78,400 tons of fresh fruit bunches (FFB), 17,300 tons of crude palm oil (CPO), and 3,600 tons of palm oil RWK’s production is predicted to increase by 12 percent in 2025. RWK has one mill with a capacity of 60 tons of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) per hour.
The third is PT Bumi Tata Lestari (BTL). In 2024, BTL, with its 4,019-hectare plantation, produced 43,665 tons of fresh fruit bunches (FFB), 9,746 tons of crude palm oil (CPO), and 1,868 tons of palm oil (PK). BTL’s production is predicted to increase by 10 percent in 2025. BSI has one palm oil mill with a capacity of 60 tons of FFB per hour.
ASP has six subsidiaries: PT Bumi Tata Lestari, PT Kharisma Alam Persada, PT Karya Boga Kusuma, PT Karya Boga Mitra, and PT Rana Wastu Kencana. These five subsidiaries operate in the palm oil plantation and manufacturing sectors, located in Sanggau Regency, Sekadau Regency, and Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan Province.
By 2025, ASP will have a total plantation area of over 50,000 hectares, with a planted area of over 31,000 hectares. ASP has four Palm Oil Mills (PKS) with a capacity of 240 tons of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) per hour.
RUNNING OIL PALM BUSINESS IN ACCORDANCE WITH ISPO STANDARD
According to Indonesian Palm Oil News (IPO NEWS)’s observations, ASP has been operating its palm oil business properly and correctly. This is evident in all its subsidiaries having received Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certification, including :
- PT AGRINA SAWIT PERDANA (ASP) has appointed certification firm PT Mutuagung Lestari Tbk to assess its plantations and mills. ASP has received ISPO certification for its 6,514 hectares of oil palm plantations and a palm oil mill (PKS) with a capacity of 60 tons of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) per hour. The plantations and mills are located in Nanga Village, Pemubuh, West Kalimantan.
- PT KHARISMA ALAM PERSADA (KAP) has appointed PT Mutuagung Lestari Tbk to assess its plantations and mills. KAP has received ISPO certification for its 8,993 hectares of oil palm plantations and a palm oil mill with a capacity of 60 tons of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) per hour. The plantations and mills are located in Tapin, South Kalimantan.
- PT BUMI TATA LESTARI (BTL) has appointed PT Mutuagung Lestari Tbk to assess its plantations and mills. BTL has received ISPO certification for its 4,019-hectare oil palm plantation and a palm oil mill with a capacity of 60 tons of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) per hour. The plantation and mill are located in Sanggau, West Kalimantan.
- PT RANA WASTU KENCANA (RWK) has appointed PT Mutuagung Lestari Tbk to assess its plantation and mill. RWK has received ISPO certification for its 7,350-hectare oil palm plantation and a palm oil mill with a capacity of 60 tons of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) per hour. The plantation and mill are located in Sambas, West Kalimantan.
