Indonesian Palm Oil News (IPO News) – The performance of PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk. in the last six years (2020-2025) had fluctuated. The highest performance occurred in 2020 and this can be seen from the production of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) in the nucleus plantations. In 2020 FFB production was 1.48 million, an increase compared to that in the previous year of 1.38 million. For details, see the table below :

LONSUM is one of the palm oil companies in Indonesia with an increasing asset value in the last four years. In 2021 its total assets were Rp 11.85 trillion increased to Rp 12.51 trillion in 2023. Finally, in 2025 its total assets soared to Rp 15.54 trillion.

Based on IPO NEWS observations, LONSUM’s performance in 2025 experienced a significant jump, with revenues reaching Rp 5.51 trillion, a 21% increase compared to that in the previous year reaching Rp 4.56 trillion. During this period, LONSUM successfully generated a fantastic profit of Rp 1.89 trillion, a 28% increase compared to the previous year.

According to LONSUM President Director, Tan Agustinus Dermawan, LONSUM’s high profit in 2025 was due to the increase in average selling price and sales volume of palm oil products. Furthermore, LONSUM’s ability to control costs through efficiency was also demonstrated. “We continue to focus on improving operational activities and productivity, prioritizing capital expenditures, particularly on critical aspects, improving cost control and efficiency, and implementing sustainable good agricultural practices.”

The sales of Rp 5.51 trillion came from sales of Rp 4.09 trillion from palm oil, Rp 1.09 trillion from palm kernel and related products, Rp 150 billion from rubber, and Rp 175 billion from others. The majority of LONSUM’s products or approximately 63%, were sold to an affiliated entity, PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk.

Assisting Fertilizers For Farmers In South Labuhanbatu

Based on IPO NEWS obser-vations, LONSUM performs consistent sales by implementing good agricultural practices in a sustainable manner and strives to establish mutually beneficial partnerships with the communities surrounding its plantations.

In January 2025, LONSUM provided fertilizer assistance to 21 community members in the Kota Pinang, Torgamba, and Silangkitang Districts of South Labuhanbatu Regency. This was a partnership activity within the framework of the Facilitation of the Development of Surrounding Community Gardens (FKPMS).

The event was attended by the Deputy Regent of South Labuhanbatu, Ahmad Fadli Tanjung, the Assistant for Economic Affairs and Development, Ralikul Rahman, MT, the Head of the Food Security and Agriculture Office, the Sub district Head, Village Heads, and Farmer Groups. This activity also aims to fulfill the 20 percent requirement for HGU land as mandated by law.

LONSUM distributed 152,850 kg of fertilizer to 436 partner farmer members for an area of 1,208.76 hectares spread across Kota Pinang, Torgamba and Silangkitang Districts as Lonsum partners around the Sei Rumbiya plantation location.
