IPO News – Performing different things, also known as differentiation, aside from attracting the attention of other people, is also a form of extraordinary creative work carried out by those who take the initiative to carry out this differentiation activity.

In essence, a differentiation strategy is an effort or action taken by a company to create fundamental differences in products and services so as to generate added value for customers and create a distinctive, unique, cool and meaningful perception.

Through differentiation, the company, in this case Indotruck Utama (ITU) can provide a more unique difference than that of competitors. So, with that difference, the customer gets a higher value.

This philosophy of differentiation is what Indotruck wants to put into practice and implement with the launch of a sophisticated and cool digital technology service: Indotruck Command and Data Center (ICDC).

“For Indotruck, ICDC is a must because digital-based technology has now become an inseparable part of human life. From waking up to going to bed, human life is familiar with digital-based technology,” said Bambang Prijono as President Director of Indotruck Utama to IPO News ahead of a press conference regarding ICDC which took place at the Indomobil Tower recently.

In front of journalists, Bambang Prijono said, this prestigious project in the form of ICDC is part of Indotruck to build a serious and responsible difference or differentiation to Indotruck’s customers.

“As we all know, any business, including the business we are in, is a business full of high competition. Well, the establishment of ICDC is our best effort in order to serve customers seriously and comprehensively,” said Bambang.

According to Tjong Bie, the launch of ICDC aims to provide excellent and classy after-sales service to Indotruck customers.

“Our tools are scattered in various regions in Indonesia, even to remote areas. With this ICDC, we are also helped: both the customer and Indotruck are assisted in monitoring our equipment, also known as Volvo trucks and heavy equipment. That way, both are satisfied,” said Tjong Bie as CEO of Indotruck Utama.

Meanwhile Roger Alm as Executive Vice President of the Volvo Group and President of Volvo Trucks told reporters that the marketing of Volvo Trucks in Indonesia has so far developed very rapidly. This is because the market share in Indonesia has reached 40%.

Furthermore, Roger Alm stated, “This large market share has made us make maximum efforts which in the end give satisfaction to customers. Apart from launching the digital flagship program, also known as ICDC, we also provide and produce the best trucks, mainly for mining or oil palm areas.”

“We or Volvo have also tried our best to provide maintenance and complete information at a transparent cost. That way, Volvo is always in demand and a mainstay for customers’ businesses.

We also provide tough trucks for activities in certain terrains where the terrain is tough. This provision is also part of satisfying our customers. Because of that, we try to ensure that maintenance, spare parts are always available in various regions in Indonesia,” said Roger Alm.
