Indonesian Palm Oil News (IPO News) – PT Gaya Makmur Mobil (“GMM”) as the Brand Holding Agent (Sole Distributor) of First Automobile Works (“FAW”) since 2009 inaugurated a new GMM Makassar office on Wednesday (06/03/2024). GMM itself is a truck sales company which provides truck solutions in the logistics, construction, mining, forestry and plantation sectors.
“The inauguration of the branch office of PT Gaya Makmur Mobil in Makassar is a form of our commitment to always present the best products from FAW, our GMM Makassar branch which has provided 3S (sales, services, spare parts) facilities will make it easier for our consumers to get the best products and services in Makassar and surrounding areas.” said Frankie Makaminang, the President Director of PT Gaya Makmur Mobil.
Surijani as the Sales Marketing Director of PT Gaya Makmur Mobil, added “GMM has been marketing FAW Trucks in Indonesia since 2005 and in those 19 years it has sold more than 4,600 units of FAW Trucks spreading in our entire regions and we are the longest distributor of Chinese Trucks which consistently offers best products and service”.
Gaya Makmur Car Makassar branch is located at Jl. Independence Pioneers No. KM 16, Pai, Biringkanaya District, Makassar City, South Sulawesi 90241.
This new branch has already supported 3S (Sales, Service, Spare Parts) facilities, which of course will make it easier for consumers to get faster and more complete services.
On the occasion of this Grand Opening, GMM Makassar displayed 2 FAW Trucks, namely the FD 290 TH type, which is a tractor head type truck and the FD 290 DT type, which is a Dump Truck type truck. Both are 6×4 driven and have a power output of 290 HP and meet Euro 5 standards.
GMM, in its journey as the Sole Distributor of FAW Trucks in Indonesia, has been marketing FAW Trucks since 2005. It is the only Chinese truck distributor which has been active in Indonesia for the longest time without ever changing brands. This makes GMM an experienced distributor in meeting the needs of consumers in Indonesia, both in terms of providing tough and efficient truck units & models, and the availability of spare parts. GMM also has highly experienced and certified mechanical personnel to ensure that the units received by consumers are in optimal condition and have a longer service life.
GMM launched various FAW Trucks units which meet EURO-5 standards (above EURO-4 which is the government’s emission standards & regulations, especially for applications in the OnRoad sector). FAW Trucks’ EURO-5 emission standard meets all the requirements of EURO-4 and of course has a longer service life.
As the sole distributor of FAW Trucks in Indonesia, GMM has superior products marketed in Indonesia such as Tractor Head, Dump Truck, Chassis Cargo, Mixer Truck and Light Truck 4×4 with 4×2, 4×4, 6×2, 6×4 and 8×4 configurations as well as engine horsepower variants, which is more in accordance with the appropriate customer operational conditions, namely starting from Horsepower: 140HP, 240HP, 290HP, 375HP, 430HP, 460HP to 550HP, which is the right solution for sectors: Mining, Plantation, construction, Logistics, and others.
Gaya Makmur Mobil continues to develop and expand the 3S network (Sales, Service, Spare Parts).
