To find out more about Mr. Ari Kuncoro’s career journey and the business development of PT Cahaya Metal Perkasa, IPO News conducted an interview at the end of February 2024. The following is an excerpt from an interview with Mr. Ari Kuncoro, an alumnus of  Civil Engineering at a University in Jakarta who was born on 1 February 1968.

“Would you please tell us about your career journey before establishing PT Cahaya Metal Perkasa until now?”
“The beginning of my career journey since 1991 until establishing PT Cahaya Metal Perkasa in 2009 is as  follow :
 1991-1994 PT Mega Pelangi Sakti – as an engineering and implementing
 1994-1998 PT Pola Beton Konstruksi Perkasa – as an engineering
 1998-2007 PT Armindo Catur Pratama – as an Engineering, Marketing, and Plant Manager
 2004-2009 PT Kencana Cakra Buana – as a commissioner
 2007-2009 PT Yakin Sinar kahuripan – as an owner
 2009 present (2024) – as the owner and the president director of PT Cahaya Metal Perkasa

“What are prompted or motivated you to finally establish PT Cahaya Metal Perkasa?”
“The factor which encouraged me to establish my own company, PT Cahaya Metal Perkasa, is that there was quite a large demand for Corrugated Steel Pipe products in 2008, especially the market for Palm Oil Plantations and Coal Mines.”

“Meanwhile, the manufacturers at that time were PT Armindocatur Pratama which was busy with the Tower project and PT Bakrie Metal Industri focused on Steel Frame Bridge products. So, the idea arose to establish a new company which focused on the production of Corrugated Steel Pipe materials.”
